Polar Ice In-house Distribution
Polar Ice operates its own transport fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles for bulk dry ice deliveries. This gives us full control over time-sensitive deliveries which can be of a critical nature, for Ireland’s food, medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Our just-in-time delivery service guarantees excellent service levels for our customers and gives us the flexibility to act promptly on emergency requirements.
We are accredited to the FTA TruckSafe Green and Gold Standards, along with ISO 9001:2015.
We have aligned our transport operations to the FTA Ireland TruckSafe standard since 2019, and achieving the Gold Standard gives us and our customers the assurance of knowing that we operate to the highest standards of compliance.
Polar Ice made a transformative shift in 2023 by transitioning our entire diesel fleet to 100% Gd+ Premium HVO. This low-emission fuel is stored on-site and managed through a fuel management system, supporting our goal to reduce eCO₂ emissions by 50% across the business by 2026.
Bulk Dry Ice Deliveries
Polar Ice deliver bulk orders all across Ireland and Northern Ireland using our own FTA accredited transport fleet. We offer guaranteed next-day delivery or urgent same-day delivery for critical and time-sensitive customer requirements.
Bulk orders of dry ice (excess of 100kgs) can be delivered in specialised highly insulated containers, protecting the dry ice from ambient temperature and can reduce sublimation to as low as 2% over a 24 hour period.

Smaller Quantity Dry Ice Deliveries
For smaller quantity dry ice deliveries we offer next-day delivery (Tuesday to Friday) with DPD couriers.
You can also collect dry ice orders from our Dublin, Cork, Portadown or Laois depots.
We do not offer Monday delivery for smaller quantities. If small quantities of dry ice are held by the courier over the weekend, the weight of the delivered dry ice will be less than your purchased amount due to sublimation (the solid dry ice reverting to its original gas form).
